Photoshop versions past 24.0.1, including the latest 24.3, are breaking my Actions and Scripts that batch save PNGs (Save as a copy) that are supposed to keep the color profiles embedded. Each time I run an action or script, the first PNG keeps the color profile embedded, but all subsequent PNGs save out "untagged".
One weird exception: I have one Action which saves out a PSD and PNG from each file with color profiles embedded. The original action saved out the PSDs first and then the PNGs. This was the first time I noticed the bug. I tried switching the order in the action to save out the PNGs first, then the PSDs, and the bug no longer occurred. Not sure why, but I wanted to pass that along.
All other scripts which save out (not export) PNGs have this bug. We cannot update until this gets fixed.

Hi there. Thanks again for helping with this. We've just discovered an issue that has been causing us problems. Every time we run this script, it checks this box again when we go to save our next file. This causes an issue when brining the EPS files into Photoshop as it causes the #000 Black colors in the EPS to not be #000 Black in Photoshop (pure black). Is there some code you could add to this to make sure during the Save As process when renaming "Black" to "White" that this box remains unchecked?

Thanks. I tried it, and it does rename all the files changing "Black" to "White" but only selects all and inverts the colors on the one file which I am viewing in the list of opened files, and it seems to do the "select all - Invert colors" twice on this one file. All other open files only get the filename change, but not the actual color change of the shapes inside. I appreciate your help.

Hi, I need a script that will select all on the canvas, invert colors, then save a new file by replacing the word "Black" with "White" in my filenames, as a Batch process. I've only been able to create a Batch Action that will do everything but save out the new filename, and I assume that can only be done as a script? Original Filename would be something like: Title_Logo_Black_RGB.eps New Filename would be: Title_Logo_White_RGB.eps Is there a way to include my action in the script and then run a "find and replace" string or something to switch out "Black" for "White" and then save?

If I use the Transform tool on Live Type, just to use the centerpoint to center the text onto a guide line, after pressing Enter to escape the transform tool -- even without performing an actual transform -- the live type will now be tenths or hundredths of a percentage off from the original point size. This only happens when the live type is in a layer group folder AND if "Show Transform Controls" is NOT checked, and instead you enter into the tool manually. If "Show Transform Controls" is checked, then you can move the text around with the transform controls showing and click off and the live type does not change point size. I am working on an M1 Mac Mini with Mac OS Monterey 12.0.1 with the latest 2022 Photoshop update.
