There's a bug in the newest version of Photoshop where, when making a selection with the magic wand tool with a Wacom pen, there is an unintended move action performed at the same time, causing the selection to shift mistakenly. The move action is logged in the history, despite the fact that clicking with the Magic Wand shouldn't ever cause a selection to move. This generally only happens on the first click of the Magic Wand, and then performs normally for any additional selections. This bug happens on the Wacom Cintiq 27QHD, which uses the older Wacom Pro Pen 1. I do not know if this bug is also present on the newer model Cintiqs that use the Pro Pen 2. This bug does not happen when using a mouse. This bug was not present in older versions of Photoshop. I am using Windows 10 and Photoshop 2022.

I'm sad to say the fix hasn't worked for me, either. I installed the update. I even tried a fresh install. Nothing I've tried has made the hand tool work with the lasso tool when I'm using a Wacom Pen Tablet. I'm still using the previous version of Photoshop where it works as expected, so no hardware issue. I hope you guys have luck ironing the issue out by the next update.

I have not heard of wintab until now. I don't believe I do, unless I'm mistaken. My Wacom tablet currently has Windows Ink checked.

I did not try it with a mouse until now. The functionality does seem to work correctly with a mouse, but not with the Wacom Tablet. How strange.
If anyone has a solution to this, it would be much appreciated. I do need to use my tablet with the lasso tool. Using a mouse would be much less precise.

In the 2021 update, I cannot pan the canvas with spacebar while I'm using the lasso tool (actively drawing a line).
In the 2020 version, holding spacebar would temporarily turn the lasso tool into the hand tool, allowing for easy panning without losing the lasso selection. It was very handy for readjusting my hand during a long selection, or simply seeing more of my canvas as I'm selecting.
This must surely be a bug? Please fix this! It's vital to my workflow!
