I have an ET-8550, a very good printer. I have given up on printing from Illustrator and downloaded Epson Print Layout. It can be set as a Photoshop plug-in. Save the Illustrator file as a PSD for Photoshop and print there. You can also load TIFF and JPG directly in Epson Print Layout not PSD, but fine from PS. Color management for the ET-8550 is RGB. There you can use profiles or let the printer decide; the latter you can choose if the file is sRGB or AdobeRGB. And it uses, of course, the proper paper profile. Not sure when it was made possible to change this (Lightroom CC has changed a lot since 2018, or even since 2022 when the most recent posts were made – for one thing, it appears to now be called Adobe Photoshop Lightroom for some reason), but it IS now possible to get rid of these annoying, intrusive, distracting, %#"€§!% tooltip popups that cover half the screen whenever you accidentally move your mouse near any part of the UI.   Go to Preferences > Interface and uncheck “Enable Animated Hover Tips” and “Enable Feature Tutorials and Intros” in the Help section. That is the sort of meta that typcially shows in the maker's 'panels' for using it, but not always in another app like Premiere. And I don't know of a separate plug-in/extension panel for Canon log media ... though that doesn't mean there isn't one.   I just do not know of it.   Neil ... View more
