After the last update (Lr 8.2) still no labels. For sure is not difficoult for Adobe to add this feature so I'm very courious to know the reason why they decided to not add this feature in Lr. I understood you're caring more about consumers but you know also that pros use Adobe apps and for every pro is important to have labels also in Lr, not just in LrC, ARC and Br.   I hope that some Adobe staff member will answer to tell why they decided to not add this feature. I tried for a while to get them to make the keyboard commands the same, but it seems to fall on deaf ears. I still would love this feature in mobile/lightroomcc, keyboard z for zoom, flagging same as LrC, and brush size adjustments, and slider adjustments via plus and minus key.  ... View more

"Why don't we see artifacts in the 1:1 preview of a pano DNG?, I take it 1:1 previews are not lossy JPEG XL."   A panorama DNG created by Photo Merge is a "linear raw" with the raw pixels represented as three channels (RGB) in the color space of the camera's sensor. The pixels are normally compressed using JPEG XL compression, but their color space is that of the camera.    When you view such a DNG in Library, it is converted to Adobe RGB, which is used for all Library previews. When you view the DNG in Develop, it is displayed in the working color space of Develop, Melissa RGB, which has the same color primaries as Prophoto RGB except with a linear curve instead of Prophoto's gamma curve.   So viewing Library is different than exporting:   Raw photos to panorama to Library preview: Camera color space > JPEG XL compression in camera color space > JPEG XL decompression > Adobe RGB.   Exporting raws to JPEG XL format in Prophoto: Camera color space > JPEG XL compression in Prophoto       ... Shift-click the badge helped me a lot.  Thank you.   Also, to the other folks watching this thread: it might help if "we" provided a suggested method of implementing what we are wanting.  Should it be that always when you pick a collapsed stack that all modifications apply to all of the images?  Or perhaps if the user double clicks?  Or perhaps if the user option clicks on the badge?  Another thought is the first shift click on the badge selects all the images but does not expand the stack.  The second shift click would expand the stack.   There are many options I suppose... ... There are three tools at issue here 1. Lightroom replace 2. PS replace (new) 3. PS generative fill and crop I have used all three of these ad naseum on thousands of images, and I can say beyond any doubt that tools 1 and 3 are rubbish, in terms of the actual output. It is terrible - blurry and devoid of detail. The new PS replace tool however is an absolute revelation, in my opinion the most significant advancement in the history of PS (I'm a daily user since V. 1). For PS generative crop expand, the original method generates completely unusable garbage, but if you simply expland the canvas to a solid color and then use the new replace tool, wow, just wow, it is incredible!!! A truly revloution in image editing. The Lightroom tools produce the same unusuable output (if you care at all about how an image looks at anything larger than seeing the entire image shrunk down onto a phone screen, or if your work will ever be printed) as the original PS tools. It's over four years on from this thread and this bug still exists."   Which symptoms are you experiencing?  The problem described in the top post, in which the number of reorderings in a collection was limited, was fixed in LR 10.1.  With that bug, restarting LR wouldn't have any effect. And if you look at the bottom of the top post, it says Bug: Fixed. Unfortunately, it appears that the original thread in the old feedback forum wasn't copied over here, so we may be missing some important information.   But it appears that posts with somewhat different symptoms that go away for a while after LR has been restarted have been incorrectly merged into this thread. (I remember the original bug report clearly, and its symptoms definitely would not go away after restarting.)  Is this what you're experiencing? ...
