"I just tested with a mixture of raw and jpg file with different names sorting by date and the preview button and the actual rename result was correct, they were all treated as separate files each with a new individual sequence number." Actually rename them and let me know if the preview reflects the results. I bet it doesn't.

"Can you show before and after naming examples?" Not anymore. Beforehand, the image names were totally different. I sort the images "By Date Created" and then rename them. The images are not sequential, as my camera and phone clocks are not synchronized. "Can you post a screenshot of the Batch Rename settings?" Attached "Did you have both NEF and JPG files selected at the same time?" Yes. "What if you use the Filter panel to only show and select one file format before renaming?" That would defeat the purpose. I want to sort the images By Date Created and then rename them accordingly so the file numbers are also chronological. Thus, images displayed using the OS finder appear in chronological order by default. "Did you include the original filename in XMP so that you can recover the initial names?" No, I don't use that option because I often rename thousands of files at a time and I don't want unnecessary XMP files created just to preserve the original file name, which is meaningless to my workflow. I've never had this problem before when renaming a mix of RAW and JPG images. This is a new issue.

Batch Rename of a folder that contains both Nikon Z8 raw (NEF) files and iPhone SE jpgs for some reason gives them the same name. The files are shot at different times on two different devices, but for some reason Bridge thinks they're related? The issue is when I export these files, the images ovewrite each other. What's gong on here? Seems like a bug to me. MAC OS 15.0.1 Bridge 15.0.0.397

Full screen preview keyboard shortcut (space bar) does not work for Video files in Adobe Bridge. This is true for Beta 15.0.0.393 and Bridge 15.0.0.397. The only way I can initiate full screen preview of video files is to go thorugh the menu.

Generative remove and expand will often leave a "stain" on the image. The generated area differs in brightness and texture than the area in which it's supposed to blend. ACR 17.0. Mac running Sequoia 15.0.1. Nikon Z8 NEF images. The first exmaple is using generative expand. The expanded sky is darker and noiser than the rest of the image. No other edits were applied to the image. The second exmaple is using generative remove to remove a soft box in the lower left corner. Note the generated pavement is darker and "smoother." This issue obvoiusly limits the usefullness of these features. Performing these actions in Photoshop works perfectly. The issue is within ACR.

I understand what you're saying, but the result is still poor. Here is the result when *everything* is "zereoed out" on the image and I perform the Generative Expand function *first.* The expanded area (sky) is still darker and noiser than the base image.

Update: this behavior is NOT present when using AI generated functions in Photoshop. This is ONLY an issue with Adobe Camera Raw.

Great! Problem: the expanded area is noisy and doesn't match the rest of the image, so this feature is essentially useless. This is NOT an issue when using generative expand in photoshop. See the attached image. You can clearly see the expanded area. Guess I'll still be doing this in photoshop.

This seems to be a new problem with the latest version of ACR when using Remove with Generative AI: the content generated is slightly darker than the rest of the image, and there's a hard edge to the generated content. I don't recall this being an issue when using Generative AI before to remove objects. See the following screen shots that document the issue. Note how the generated content leaves a "stain" on the image where it removed the soft box. Camera Raw 16.5 Mac OS 15.0.1

As a full-time professional sports car racing photogrpher, I take tens of thousands of images each event. I spend hours each day tagging my images with relevant keywords for the car number shown in the image. Then, I sort by car number to find the best images for each car. Again, this takes hours. If there was a way for Adobe Bridge to us AI technology to identify the car shown (at least find the car number on it!) or use machine learning to "recognize" the car even if a number isn't shown (cars often have unique colors as well as numbers), that would be a GAME CHANGER for my workflow. I'd at least get several more hours of sleep each day. Please consider adding AI technology and machine learning to help apply keywords to images IN BRIDGE.

To replciate: 1) Start in full screen mode 2) Apply a custom white balance to a number of images.
3) Select all images
4) Press "F" to exit full screen mode
5) Note how white balance from first image is applied to all images.
HUGE PROBLEM. Please fix! See attached video.

"I'm sorry, but what you are describing has not been something that could be done — at least not in Bridge." False. I've used bridge for fifteen years to work on thousdands of images a day, and this only started happening when bridge instituted movable (separate) panels. Trust me: I know what I'm talking about.

Please add generative expand for cropping in Adobe Camera Raw. I love that Geneative AI is added as an opton for "remmove," but it would be GREAT if we could expand the crop area byond the original image and use Generative AI to expand...just like in Photoshop.
