In 15 years of using Premiere Pro I've never once "accidentally" changed the workspace. Nor has anyone ever complained about it in the forums. I don't think this issue warrants the use of Adobe's limited resources.

A better way to phrase this might be "Don't rasterize Vector Graphics until final export".

Not just the sequence, but the Project panel itself. Sequences and other panels would inherit the color of Project in which you're working.

You can already do this. Click the waveform icon at the bottom center.

This would be a HORRIBLE idea. The software should do what we tell it, not decide things on it's own. If you hit stop, it should stop, and that's it. If you want to go back, you need to tell the software to go back.

You already can save effect presets. Have had this for a long time now.

Resolve has track coloring and I use it a lot. Very helpful to distinguish between dialog, music, effects, etc. Though I do believe that clip color should override track color.

Premiere Pro will only add audio tracks to the sequence if a clip is added to the sequence that requires them. Simply opening a clip in the Source Monitor will have no effect on the sequence.

I find it best to edit the audio in the Source sequence rather than the Target sequence. This just works.

The entire point and purpose of higher resolutions is more screen real estate. If GUI's are too small at a specific resolution, you need a larger monitor.

This is easy to solve. If the LUT doesn't come with PP, always use Browse.

Solution: 1. Open a project. 2. Close that project. 3. Open the next project. Done, and Adobe can spend limited resources on better things.

Resolve has a similar feature called Power Bins. They show up in every project, and any media added to the folders on the hard drive automatically show up in the bins.

RED RAW and ARRIRAW are both proprietary. There's no reason Adobe can't work with BMD to get Ursa Mini (and soon BMPCC 4K) media working in Premiere Pro.

The Creative Cloud suite really, REALLY needs to incorporate the Academy Color Encoding System, commonly known as ACES. ********, what an excellent way to manage color!

Premiere Pro needs to ability to set the Color Space and Gamma of individual sequences. Rec 709 for HD, Rec 2020 for UHD, P3 for Cinema work, etc. There does need to an an HDR switch for Color Spaces that support it. Mercury Transmit needs to respect those settings and output without alteration or conversion.

I'd like to add the ability to continue working while sequences get rendered within Premiere Pro. Rendering would remain user initiated, and NEVER occur automatically. However, once a user initiates a render, we would be able to continue working. I imagine a new Render window along with the Project, Media Browser, Effects, Info, etc., where we could see the status of all initiated renders; pause, resume and cancel them; rearrange their order, etc.

Premiere Pro does not properly support CinemaDNG media. For starters, not all versions can be imported, specifically the media coming from the Blackmagic Ursa cameras. But even for the versions that can be imported, support for the format is still lacking to the point of unusability. The Media Browser will not see all the clips at the same time. We're forced to go into every individual clip folder for import duties. This is untenable. The RAW controls available are limited to Temp, Tint and Exposure. The controls that are possible and must be implemented are: White Balance Color Space Gamma ISO Color Temp Tint Exposure Sharpness Highlights Shadows Color Boost Saturation Midtone Detail Lift Gain Contrast Finally, because we do not have access to the Color Space or Gamma, the footage comes in with a preset "LUT" applied, making the original Log footage unusable.

The Creative Cloud suite needs the ability to use other resources connected to the same network for distributed rendering. Installing a small program on other connected machines would allow the primary machine to use the available CPU/GPU and memory of connected machines to speed up render/export duties.
