In ACR I had to regenerate because I then denoised. I don't like what it regenerated. The "Generate" button is grayed out and it's not giving me 3 choices any more. How do I regen?

Generative fill is not replicating the texture or resolution of the original. Attached is a 100% image of relatively calm water. Other attempts have included foliage from other parts of the image, what appears to be land, and other unidentifiable artifacts-- even in areas that were not in the selected region.

This needs to be directed by text as is the generative fill in PS. Even if you select a large area, if you have a dominating black feature, it will maintain the feature and / or produce a visual result which is off tonally.

Especially when working with snow and cloudless skies, Generative AI needs refinement in getting the luminosity, saturation, and textures spot on. Textures can end up blurry and color shades can be off by a couple points in each rgb channel.

Looking at some other images, it appears to me the issue comes up when reediting the SO in ACR, not when pulling up the original RAW file even if it has healiing edits in its RAW file.

The file I would like to upload is one of my smaller ones, but it's 855 MB (24 x 36"). When I go to downsize the Smart Object, all the heal edits are lost. This one only has heal edits since they tend to work better with snow contrasted to the remove tool. If I open the SO and save the xmp file, all the healing is gone from it. So how do I get it to you?

I have gone back to images I have been workiing on in ACR prior to the Early Access generative remove and found all my heals & clones blown away. Some images have literally a hundred heals (dust bunnies, specks in snow, etc.) that are now gone.
How do I get back to the prior version? I don't like the early release!!!!!

Mac Studio Sonoma 14.4.1 / PS 25.7 / ACR 16.2.1 I haven't had issues with the profile before, even when I first processed the image in 2015. I am revisiting old shots because I can now process them better with the new tools in ACR. Regardless whether the image is Nikon RAW or enhanced DNG, the 2 shots I have of this tree have the same problem. When I work with the images in the current process version, ACR is creating visible artifacts in the all 4 corners (see images). I used the curve to enhance the problem. As a work around I was ble to successfully use a similar profile without any issues. I just noticed that the problem happens with the V2 profile and not the original.

Sonoma 14.4.1 / Photoshop 25.6.0 / ACR 16.2 Scanning images and then merging in ACR into single large page. First went normally Second time pulled up the merged image from the first time. Terminating PS and remerging resulted in the first image again.

Sonoma 14.3.1 / PS 25.4 / Camera Raw 16.1.1 on Mac Ultra M1 128GB Editing for the past 2 hours of an Smart Object which requires fine masking. Going in and out of SO / Camera Raw to review edits. I save the xmp file before I close ACR. The first xmp fille is 219k and the last is 3.7MB. The psb file is 1.23GB. Too big to attach. The xmp file is attached however. Looking at the 3.7MB file using textedit I can see the XML for the mask called "tree", however ACR is not showing it in the last iteration. 2 hours of editing lost. I have had an issue before with a lost mask when the xmp file gets this large. Not fun.

As I was working with other vendors who have printing systems that operate outside of the Adobe environment, it seems there is a general failure to "remember" various preset settings: ...there are some bugs in the Apple print system in Ventura which can cause driver settings not to be remembered. This issue is not specific to [prduct name] but is a bug at the system level.

PS 24.1.1 / Ventura 13.2.1 (22D68) / Apple M1 Ultra 128 GB In the print dialogue, under Printer Options / Color Matching the Color Sync setting is grayed out. In the following, the Default shows the radio button set to Color Sync as it should since PS will provide the ICC profile. The setting is copied to a new preset "Han Luster Sheet". When viewed, the new preset is no longer set to Color Sync, but to Epson Color Controls. This results in double profiling with colors grossly off. Since this dialog box is grayed out, it cannot be set back to Color Sync. This is still occurring having deleted the printer in MacOS and via Epson's Uninstall, and then reinstalling.

PS 24.1.1 Ventura 13.2.1 (22D68) Apple M1 Ultra 128 GB To save presets, I've found that I needed to completely remove the printer from MacOS as well as remove the print driver 12.62 using Epson uninstall 13.2 (uninstall 13.1 hung my system). Then reinstall, in this case a P7000. I still have color managment issues which will be listed as a separate bug....

Mac OS Monterey 12.6.1 / Bridge 13 I created a 3 image stack and then expanded it. Only the first image is highlighted and only the first is imported into ACR. This behavior is contrary to all prior versions of Bridge.

Bridge was hosting ACR. I had the same problem when using the SKY mask and had used the brush to do some clean up. I noticed an ACR file in the original folder where the original image was stored. My guess is that AI stuff is being stored there.

Using latest ACR to edit image, unable to bring it into PS due to error. See messages at 9 and 14 seconds in MOV file. When I removed the Healing Brush edit, I could import the file into PS.

I referred this issue to Apple Support. Following their suggestion, reloading Monterey did not change the situation, Eventually I tried Safe Mode and the swapping worked. Just as memory pressure built into yellow mode, the swapping started as one would expect. Following some more calls to Apple Support, it was going to be referred to higher level support. In the meantime I uninstalled some of the extraneous stuff that comes with Epson printers such as low ink reminder, event minder, and another useless item. Once I did that, I tried again, swapping took place, and all is working normally. I noticed the Epson installs and uninstalls automatically shutdown all apps that are running, to my surprise. I believe Epson software is getting into areas it shouldn't. I believe Apple is still going to follow up to see how Monterey is interacting with Epson software. Another issue on the Adobe side that could rear its ugly head for a future incident, is the amount of memory dust cloning is taking in ACR. Each one is capable of using several gigs of memory, depending on what one is doing.

Mac OS 12.3.1 Mac Ultra 128 GB PSCC 23.3 (memory usage set at 87,943 70%) This is a repeatable issue. I am working a large 8 shot pano which had been previously merged in ACR. After performing tonality and HSB adjustments, I went back into the Smart Object and started working on removing dust spots since I had the image near where I wanted. The first time I did this PS was at 128GB. This time (only) at 99.48GB. 1) Why is it exceeding the 70% recommended memory usage set in preferences? 2) Why am I running out of application memory and nothing is swapping?

We work in a neutral color managed environment. I have arranged my workspace to be virtually free of any color except for gray. Why is there a blue button on my UI that I can't get rid of?

iMac MacOS 10.15.5 / CC PS 21.2 In Photoshop, when doing a legacy export as a jpeg file, the size estimates make no sense. An export of 0 image quality creates a file of 1.8MB . as the attachments show an estimate of 2.2 MB creates a file of 1.4 MB. Often a lower quality setting gives a higher size estimate.

iMac MacOS 10.15.3 / CC PS 21.11 / ACR 12.2.0.386 (I just updated latest fixes a few minutes ago) This appears to be a function of refreshing screen when GPU is active since the behavior is not replicated when turned off. When 2 images are open in ACR (for comparitive purposes) the images are not always refreshed when flipping back and forth between them. Performing a screen function like moving the image slightly forces a refresh. "Screen Shot 2020-03-24 at 11.31.43 AM" should not have the feather in it even though it is labelled correctly as active since the image from DSC_0143 is actually the one still being shown. baseline @200% Base line @200% Screen not refreshed / should not have feather full image full image

I have what may be a related issue. When first opening a folder of say 800 images, I select all of them and it shows that all 800 are selected at the bottom left. Bridge is still building previews using the "embedded" option. When I run the rename preset (run many times before) not all files get renamed, missing a handful. When I run the same preset on the remaining group, the files are renamed, but the timestamp is not complete, missing the milliseconds. File info shows the milliseconds.
