I'm trying to be concise as possible but please forgive me if I leave anything out. After updating Photoshop yesterday on my M1 Mac Studio (system 13.2.1) I tried to run a basic batch process on a folder of tifs that had one adjustment layer. The batch ran as flatten, smart sharpen, and then they were saved as a new tif and a separate jpg onto a folder on my desktop. Was able to record the action just fine but when trying to run batch I get an error. "Could not complete the command because of a program error." There was a button labeled "learn how to fix this" and when clicking it gave suggestions for fixing. I went through the motions suggested but nothing seems to help. I made sure photoshop was up to date and checked disk permissions but nothing helped. there was also a suggestion to "Hide all layers in the Layers panel then Save again" but since this was a flattened file this was not applicable. Tried mutiple times creating the action as well as variations. Nothing helped. I am about to revert to an older version of photoshop. Not sure if this is widespread or just me.

I don't have an answer but wanted to add that I am having same issue as you. I have started to use lightroom or drag files manually from cards rather than use Bridge Photo Downloader.

Hope this makes sense. Navigating through a folder of images in full screen preview I noticed when you tap space bar to get back to bridge two files are selected. The image you initially pressed space bar to enter full screen preview as well as the last file you viewed in this mode. Pressing command O to open a file in full screen preview opens the file you are cutternly viewing. If you press command O after you've left full screen preview opens both files. I'm assuming this is a bug but if it's a feature not sure why. Tried it on desktop work computer as well as a seperate laptop.

Vertical lines still appear when smart sharpen is used. Not ideal for my workflow but I've just been sharpening in the camera raw filter.

I did a search and don't see this file hidden or otherwise on my machine. Is there a general location I can look or variation in name?

Just tried again. Uninstalled all versions of bridge and photoshop and then reinstall as you suggested and it didn't work. Tools still missing.

I rely on bridge in my workflow extensively for organization and processing. After the 2020 release it became impossible to use. Any simple action I would get the spinning color wheel. Working with files in bridge took much longer or became impossible. I re-installed Adobe Bridge 2019 and it works much better but this version seemed to lose some functionality. I lost the ability ot access all of the Photoshop Tools in the tools menu but specifically one I depend on "Load files into photoshop layers..." I do know there are ways within photoshop to stack the files into layers but it's little more clunky. I was hoping the latest Bridge update would resolve any issues I was having but it hasn't. So add my name to the list of disappointed. If anyone knows a way of adding the Photoshop tools back into the Tools menu I would appreciate it. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing all adobe software but this didn't seem to work. Any other thoughts? Machine specs below. Mojave Mac Pro (Mid 2012) 2 x 3.46 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon 40 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 6 GB UPDATE: I decided to start from scratch. I reformatted drive and reinstalled everything. I would like to give it a few days but right off the bat Bridge 2020 is working great.

I too reinstalled previous version of Camera RAW the other day and everything is working fine again. It plays nice with files on a network.

I'm having the same issue. The only way I found to attach a rating for the raw files I'm working with is to rate them when files are open in camera raw. Not great. I've been doing this for a long while and never had problems rating files that were on a NAS while viewing in bridge.
