Or: hold down Alt > select audio of video and hit Delete. O: uncheck Lindked Selection in the left hand top corner of the timeline: select audio of video and hit Delete. Dont forget to turn it back on as it can mess up your timeline.

Like the UI font-size / console this feature is used more than had been thought. By @MyerPj Adobe held a poll on the FB group for the fx badges. Quite a few professionals did not know what it was or never used it. Adobe might have set this as criteria to remove the feature. But I do not think the FB group is a good representative for all users. Any way: my experience is once a feature has been taken out, it will never come back. As far as I am concerned, they can take out this new feature also: completely useless. The console was not a feature but a workaround

dropping files on the timeline means the footage is already in the project. As for the Project window (media?) its not yet imported into the project.

Its by design and has been for a very long time. Tested this in 2023 to be sure. Cannot turn it on or off. (I don't have enough experience with premiere pro to know exactly what I am doing incorrectly or posses the knowhow to easily find the solution the the problem myself, if it is a technical problem or a user problem) I am guessing you are confusing two different behaviors within Premiere. Might be you seeing other tracks with Composite Preview during Trim turned on.

Dragging to trim a clip hides all layers above and below it By @defaultgzkxy7o55slh Giving it another good look, I say its normal behavior. It only shows the track on which the clip is sliding/trimmed. while sliding it will give the last frame of the clip on the left or first frame of the clip on the right. If there is no clip on either side of the sliding clip it would show as black. If the top and below clips where showing you would not see what you were trimming.

The workflow you have been describing has always been that way, so there is nothing to fix. Video is one frame and audio up to 1/48000 per second.

I have a 4K monitor too. Properties panel fits just fine. On a small laptop it might be a pita scrolling all the time. Instead of scrolling one could open/close the dropdown menus. Kind of solo mode as in the Lumetri panel.

In the beta Adobe change the zoom to alt+scroll and ctrl+scroll. Scroll has been changed to up/down. If you have a second scroll wheel > left/right. You cannot edit your post until you have posted quite a few posts. (due to spammers).

This feature has been on the wish list for some years now and vote up by a lot of users. https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-ideas/zooming-into-monitors-using-alt-scroll/idi-p/13515561 The link says 2023 but goes back a lot further when it was still User Voice. I love this feature but then again I am not a broadcast editor. An option to turn it on/off would be fine by me.

Er staat heel duidelijk in het bericht dat projecten die markers bevatten niet meer worden ondersteund. Met ander woorden: helaas. Wil je toch de projecten openen dan dien je (indien mogelijk) Elements 14 of 15 te installeren. Markers verwijderen dan maar hopen dat het project in versie 24 opent.

Your local media player is also very different from Elements. So are players or whatever on your phone. H.264/5 are known for giving playback issue on a regular computer. Those files are heavily compressed. Its all about the codec; Your system has to decode before being able to play the file in your NLE. You need a powerful machine to be able to edit without any issue.

Scroll bars are available under the Wrench. Press scroll on your mouse and move around the frame or use the Handtool. There is a kbsc for fit.

Elements is a Non-Linear Editor. Steaming platforms etc are players. There is a big difference between those.
