Thanks ssprengel. I installed PSE 2020 and will also install premiere 2020. Right after the install, PSE 2020 installed or updated its Camera Raw to 12.0. PSE 9 and 2020 work side by side but I don’t know or care about the organizer since like yourself I don’t use it. When asked, I elected not to convert the old organizer which is empty anyway. I think I read that organizer changes in 2020 won’t port over to PSE 9 as you mentioned, but again for me it doesn’t matter. It seems that all the editing functions are working side by side so I can use both for a while. I spent an hour or so editing some pics in 2020 and so far, I’m warming up to it pretty fast. I find the interface a bit more intuitive than pse 9 and there are lots of similarities which is good. I agree the goal for me is to get acclimated to 2020 and then delete pse 9. I’ll keep 9 around until that happens. I think my pse 9 is 32-bit because its installed in Program Files (x86). PSE 2020 is only available as 64-bit. Once I install Premiere and make sure it works on my system I’ll go ahead and buy both before the sale ends. I’ve never done video editing but since the new camera does video that is likely to change. Thanks for your continued help with this.

OK, it looks like its all fixed. I did the uninstall via windows uninstall programs in the control panel. As an added caution I turned off the firewall and MSE protections before running the installer. Everything went smoothly. Thanks.
