While the response above addresses Apple's privacy policy, it doesn't explain: "Why would I want to do this? Is there a benefit? Will PSCC work differently if I don't allow this?" This was the part of my question that I had hoped would be explained.

I got this pop-up about Adobe Desktop Service when updating to the newest version of PSCC. Can't remember if I have gotten this before. Not sure which I should choose. Is this necessary?

My workspace window shows my computer desktop. I have uninstalled and reinstalled PS and reset my preferred workspace. I have restarted my computer (twice). I tried opening PS from LR. The problem persists. Everything was working fine. I had been trying to create an animated gif before the problem occurred. I am using an iMac Apple MI with Ventura 13.6.1

The feature seems to work great but my selection will be replaced with a gray screen. I can bring it back by clicking on it but it continues to reappear. See attached. I am on a Mac Mojave 10.14.6. Wonderf if anyone else has experienced this? Gray screen subject cutout

@Axel Matt, Thank you for your reply. Happily, the problem was solved by restarting my computer for a second time. I had restarted after updating, but it was the second restart that somehow fixed the issue. Helen

I just updated PSCC and LRCC. When I right-click on a photo in LR to edit in PSCC 2017, it now opens my Photoshop Elements 11!!!! This has never happened before. Help please.
