It seems I posted on the wrong thread. I am using a MacBook Pro which has the M3 Max chip. I did try unchecking the Use Graphic Processor. It did not help. The problem exists in Photoshop 2025 and Photoshop 2024. Sky Replacement works in Photoshop 2023. I also tried it with Photoshop 2022 and 2021. Sky Replacement works on those two versions as well. I have chatted with live agents on the support chat. They just tended to have me spend a lot of time testing things I had already tested. It feels like a near waste of time, but maybe that is the price to get to somebody who can eventually resolve the problem. In the meantime, I have the workaround of opening Photoshop 2023. James L. Yes, this is happening in Photoshop 2025. I have tried changing the graphics processor settings with no change. James Gray

I do not understand why this makes no sense to you. It seems to me that this is exactly the way it should work. The clone stamp tool copies pixels from one image to another depending on where you paint in the target and where you set the source in the source image. I sure hope that Adobe does not decide to attempt to modify this behavior. If you need to clone from A, first create a copy of A and up sample it to have the dimensions of B if they are the same shape. If they are not the same shape I really do not know what you do. As a person who is a retired programmer, I really do not know what you think the clone tool should do if the images are not the same exact shape.

Please forgive me. I have not figured out how to use this forum very well. I have a similar problem. I have a trial version of Lightroom 3 already. I have signed up for Photoshop CC etc. It includes Lightroom and several other piece of software. Lightroom 5 will not install. I was successful at downloading and installing Photoshop CC and Bridge CC. As I said Lightroom did not install. The Adobe Applications Manager shows "Installation Failed". I did retry and got the same error. The error is Exit Code: 7 Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example, ERROR: DW006 ... -------------------------------------- Summary -------------------------------------- - 0 fatal error(s), 2 error(s) ----------- Payload: AdobeLightroom5CCMPkg-mul 5.2.0.0 {4b06fc24-6249-4c57-9830-6008a3ce9a80} ----------- ERROR: DW006: Apple Package failed to install successfully. ERROR: Third party payload installer Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.pkg failed with exit code: 1 I am running a Mac. The OS is Snow Leopard. Is there any other information that I can provide that might help? In about May of 2011 I changed from Windows to Mac. At that time Adobe provided me with a trial copy of Lightroom which I installed and did not really ever use. James Gray
