I had already done this, but to be sure, I tried again this morning after confirming that the CC app preference for Launching at login is not checked, rebooting and confirming it is not running via Task Manager. There are several other processes running related to Creative Cloud even when that app isn't running itself though. Same result as before with .exe and .msi. New log attached.

Okay, I created a new Managed Package and downloaded it. Followed instructions here and in linked article and right clicked on the .exe file within the 'Run as Administrator'. That looked promising until it failed. I can't attach a video to this post, there is a screen grab of the exe fail dialog box. I tried running the msi route and it looks promising too, but ultimately just quits. Both do present a Windows security prompt, then seem to progress, both indicating with progress bars that installation is happening. Any ideas? I've attached the log that is linked in the 'failed' dialog that resulted from the .exe attempt as well as a screenshot of the dialog box. Also, for the Legacy Download option, I had already tried typing literally every letter of the English alphabet into the search box, only letters appearing in 'Illustrator' resulted in any 'hit' and that hit was always Illustrator. See attached.

My bad- I did not dig into the folders within the downloaded file, I did locate the .exe file in a subfolder. However it fails when I try to run as administrator. It generated a log, but I am going to try to create a new package and try that tonight. Thank you for sticking with me, sorry I didn't poke deeper into the package contents first.

Thanks for the detailed post. I did create a Managed Package the other day and was able to download the contents though I wasn't sur I needed to. What I can't seem to figure out is how to install the package. I thought it would appear in my Creative Cloud app assuming the package I created would be 'linked' somehow to my account and would then appear as a option to install. I have restarted, tried updates, etc. My package may be expiring soon, though I can easily create another but if it were going to populate the CC app, I thought it would have by now. Thus my thought about needing to use the Remote Update Manager but unsure of how that mechanism works either. I also did navigate to the archive link, however the ONLY app that will appear in the 'Product Name' search field is Illustrator no matter what I enter. I just tried that again.

I worked on this last night and was able to follow the steps in the linked article(s) to create a package and download of the apps I need. I tried again tonight to figure this out. How to I get the Creative Cloud app to recognize that I need to have a 'update' to install? Do I need to install the 'Remote Update Manager' and somehow push the updates out to my own machine? I am not an IT person, we aren't a large company with a IT staff, we don't use Active Directory, etc. I just need to be able to install these 'old' apps on this one machine. TIA.

I appreciate the help. I am subscribed, I am logged in. I am not running as a trial. If you are referencing the Looking for older versions? 'View More' link at the bottom of the dialog that pops up which I screen-shoted above, I had already tried that, I should have mentioned that. It opens a web page with instructions on how to reveal the dialog panel that I screen shot again. It does not provide a mechanism or instructions for obtaining anything in any way other than what I've already done. All paths from that webpage lead back to instructions on navigating to the aforementioned screen-shoted dialog in Creative Cloud app. I just tried 'repairing' the Creative Cloud app, no change. I cannot unistall the Creative Cloud app, it states I cannot uninstall as I have Creative Cloud apps (ie: Pr, Me, Ae, Ps) installed currently and Creative Cloud app is needed to manage them. At this moment in time, I have a project I am editing with a deadline later today so can't uninstall everything in order to try that, but I will try that tonight. Although I am now aware that I won't be able to install 23x of Pr/Me back after that either, which I would like to hold on to as I have projects from another client that may need to be modified and saved in 23x in the next few weeks. After that, I am confident they won't be back with that need and I can drop v23x. I literally installed 23x and 25.0 on November 1st, the day I got this machine. So at that time apparently, though I can't remember for sure, I could have installed 24x had I choosen to do so. And, at that time, that were at least three verisons I would have been able to install- 23x, 24x and 25.0. That's in conflict with the policy of only one previous version being available. Very frustrating why now I can't see ANY previous verison to install outside of 25.0 (currently on 25.1). Again, this is in reference to Pr, Me and Ae. In Ps, I CAN see the immediately previous version available along with seemingly every release version of it (26.3 current) including 25.12.1 (long term supported) plus 13 previous releases of v25. ! Why the disconnect? That's my frustration. Thanks again for the assists.

Thanks for the relplies. I am subscribed and logged in while polling the Creative Cloud app. I've attached what I see when trying to update Pr. I am looking for the last version of 24 (24.6.4 in Premiere is what my client used) but I would take any 24x version at this point, their project is basically only cuts at this point so I just need to open it and save it in 24x. I just heard from a collegue that I may have to uninstall and reinstall the Creative Cloud app itself, so I am going to try that and I'll report back.

Is there a previous version of Creative Cloud App that I can roll back to somehow to 'reveal' the previous CC2024 versions?

Surely you're kidding? The linked article is has information that I've been trying. It's not available via the Creative Cloud app as the linked article suggests for any app I need (Premiere, ME and AE) as I've tried and stated. So you're telling me I cannot install CC2024 versions at all? Ever? I cannot work with CC2025 apps as my client won't accept any modified projects (my final deliverables) returned in CC2025 project versions. They started the project in June of 2024 in CC2024 and will not consider converting it to 2025, I don't blame them. I was able to install CC2023 versions of the video apps back in November when I bought this new Win11 machine, and the reason I did was exactly why I need the older versions now- I was modifying a project for a client who wanted it back in the CC2023 verison it was created in. At that time, I think I recall seeing CC2024 as a option to install via Creative Cloud 'other' versions, I'm not positive, but likely it was there as I was able to install 23x versions of the video apps. I should have installed CC2024 at that time I guess? How was I to know the immediately previous version would be unavailable? This hasn't been the case to my knowledge. Am I wrong? Adobe is officialy still supporting the last CC2024 release, is it not? It seems it should be able to be installed if so. For Photoshop, I seem to be able to install the immediately previous versions (25x) if I want to, even versions previous to the 'long-term supported' version of 25x. Why not the video apps? If I can't accept this project (a very large, long-term project), what am I supposed to do? This will cost me many tens of thousands of dollars in lost project fees. Surely there's a way. I've tried updating Creative Cloud app, updating Windows, rebooting, etc. And I've been trying since last week to figure this out. If there isn't a way, I'm truly at a loss. Again: Surely you're kidding, right?

I have CC2025 versions of Premiere, Media Encoder, AE and Photoshop installed. I also have CC2023 installed of the same apps. I have a client project that requires that I edit in CC2024 Premiere and AE as I need to had it back in that same verison, but no option is available via Creative Cloud app in 'other' verisons flyout menus to install anything other than older version of 25x. Win 11 pc. I see mentions of contacting Adobe to request installers, but I've not received any useful reply to messages sent to a general support chat and I just got transferred to a 'hang up' dead-end when I tried to call the Adobe Support that I only got to after enduring a really un-helpful 'virtual' chat session. What can I do to get CC2024 apps installed? TIA.
