Wow, the Unsmart script that Bereza posted does this perfectly. Super useful for animators who need all the layers within smart objects unpacked into the PSD and with all the transformations, scale, etc. https://www.mightyplugins.cc/magic-scripts

Hi, @strawbo13 Even if the technology behind Pixel Bender is not there anymore, I keep wondering if an official support of say, Paper.JS or processing inside a UXP container would not please lots of users...

"Is it possible to have more "ON THE FLY" feature and as we use the brush by pen or mouse we able to change the angle dynamicaly?" I agree. I resize my brush by holding Ctrl+Alt and dragging my pen. This method is SO much faster than using bracket keys. It would be great if the same thing existed for bruth rotation.

Fixed long ago (6 years) - No posts in this thread since.
If you have a problem with the current version of Lightroom Classic (11.3) printing I recommend you start a new thread and provide more complete information so that someone can guide you through a color-managed workflow.
If you are using an older version of Lightroom Classic, I recommend you update to the current version and see if you still have the problem.
In any case, resurrecting this ancient and fixed thread will not accomplish your goal.
I am closing this thread.

I understand that, Stephen, but then it turns into a popularity contest and frankly I'm not sure I even see the results of that flowing into new features. We are often just surprised at what shows up with little or no prior chatter, which is an ironic variation on Ford's quip that if he'd asked people what they wanted, they'd have said faster horses. We all understand the need for wow factors, but you can also wow the old guard by addressing some of these older FRs. It is incredibly frustrating to hear "that's a good idea, now go get votes." Who voted on changing Transform behavior? The point is: sometimes a good idea is good even if others don't know about it. I don't have time, Earth doesn't have time, most of us don't have time to go find an audience to perusade to hop over here and vote up a request or suggestion. Yet if we cruise over to YT and get the top three "influencers" to suggest making the UI hot pink with yellow text, the votes would accelerate towards NaN in hours. I'd like to think there's a trusted body of people where Adobe hears a rational and useful idea, and THEY go feel out the suggestion rather than this weird attempt at democracy in software development. That body of trusted advisors should carry significant weight in the FR realm, even if individual members aren't shellaced YT stars. Take this venting with a grain of salt, but only one. I think you know that I rarely show my frustration, and it's born of a serious desire to see PS keep its top slot with responsive, considerate evaluation. And I do understand the caveats and constraints. Hell, I defend the PS team to a fault, and I will continue to do so. But I'd like to feel it's worth what little time I can give these days. Supporting PS is a labor of love, but I'm starting to feel like a stalker instead of a partner.

I think the best approach going forwards is to map the AAT tables to OpenType features so they can be exposed in the UI. At least for those features that are supported. Some features, like historical ligatures which I include in most of my fonts, are not exposed in the UI, even if I map the AATs feature code to that of OpenTypes.
I have not tried mapping optional AAT to stylistic sets yet. If that works, it'll be a good workaround for now. Type35

*Samuel Cody Sorry this has been frustrating. It is not an easy thing to change in Photoshop.
Per my previous comment, I think there is an existing solution to the problem. If you use the Pen Tool instead of the Polygonal Lasso Tool, you can Undo each point, save the path for later, and also feather the selection if desired. I think it gives you all the functionality you want, and more, but I would love to understand if there is something about the Pen Tool that won't work in this scenario.
Instructions:
Select the Pen Tool
Click to create your path (you can use CMD-Z to undo the creation of any point)
Once you have created your path, press the "Make: Selection" button in the Tool Options bar
A dialog appears asking if you want to feather the selection
Let me know if this solves your problem.

Another screenshot to illustrate how useless the interpolation quality makes the rotation for certain Patterns. Left the unrotated pattern, middle the rotated pattern, right a rotated Smart Object of the Pattern. And why is the angle value for the Pattern rotation negative compared to the rotation angle value of a Smart Object?

illustrator now does it blazingly fast, shows you the entire font list with any word you're currently typing as the sample text. Proving it doesn't need to be slow. So, the illustrator team found a way. Go talk to them! 🙂

This was actually working for me in CC 2014: with a path selected, I could change the operation with the - = keys, but the indicator in the tool bar would not reflect the change.
In 2015, the toolbar icon changes, but the path operation does not. You can change the operation for the NEXT path component you create, but not the one currently selected.
Is this how it used to be? I can't even remember.
