Will try the multi-threading compositing. In my experence, everyone recommends resetting the preferences which I have done numerous times to no effect. Thanks, and will let you know about the preference. Not sure what that does.

Mind was checked. I think it happens when I opened a serveral layered file from LR to PS. I will try to track but it has only starting happebing in the last year.

When I open an image from LRC to PS2022 the image often opens as a checkboard. I have to close the file & reopen & it comes in fine. What could be causing this? I have tried re-setting preferences, unchecking thengraphics card, uninstalling & reinstalling PS2022, etc. Mac Big Sur, LRC 11.3.1, PS 2022

I have a mac running the latest PS and LR classic. I put an image from LR to PS, developed the image and did a crop. When I saved the image back to LR the cropping was different (more crop from the top). I do not have delete pixels checked.
This never has happened before. What could the issue?

gener7 Thanks. I solved the isssue by loading the textures directly into PS rather than using the Adobe library to load the textures. The Adobe library changes the full res textures to thumbnails. Thanks, Afterimage

I purchased a group of Flypaper Textures. I loaded the full res textures into my adobe library and they show up in my PS Librariy but when I open one of the textures they are the low res textures. What am I doing wrong? PS 23.1.1

I printed a color image from LR 11.1 (red maple) and it printed great. Two weeks later I printed the same image and it had an orange cast. Why would this happen?

I moved preferences>settings 2022 to the desktop and opened a few images without an issue. The checkerboard look does not happen all the time so I am not sure this worked but it did for the few images I opened. What do I do next? Put my settings back so my PS looks like it did before the change?

In PS 23.1 Help > GPU>Compatibility my Graphics Card is compatible with Monterey OS. Yet when I open an image from LR 11.1 to PS in comes in as a checkerboard. Its not consistent: somethimes it comes in ok and other times a checherboard. Adobe says its my Graphics Card and PS says it is not.

When I go to LR Classic on my imac Big Sur Preferences > Presets and change the camera to Fuji X100V and then close preferences and then re-open preferences>presets the camera shows my iphone X even though it is not connected to the imac. How do I get the camera presets to stop changing the camera presets?

I always save my files in PS and then close to LR. I must have a workflow issue but not sure what it would be. I do know that LR does not support layers.

I did a spotlight search with the name and they showed up so I moved them to the desktop and imported into LR. Not sure where they were.

I imported from LR 10.2 a viftual copy and made adjustments, saved the file and made a duplicate, closed the saved file, made different adjustments to the duplicate, saved it and made another duplicate, closed the 1st duplicate file, made adjustments to the 3rd duplicate and saved it. Repeated one more time. In LR only the first duplicate showed up. I went to PS 22.3.1 and went to recent and when I cliced on the 2nd and 3rd photo I got a message that the file could not be found. They are not on my external hard drive or in LR. what is happening? iMac, Big Sir 11.3.1

Adobe Big Sir and fuji xt4 and other cameras are having an import issue with LR10.1.1. Either the images do not import or the raws import but not the jpegs.

First, the iMac card reader slot will not import the XT4 files. When I use a card reader the raw files import but not the jpegs even though the file says RAF+Jpeg. Using LR 10.1.1 and Big Sur 11.2.3 on an iMac.

The new photoshop put the gradients in folders. I created a new folder and transfered many of the gradients to that folder. Now I want to restore the gradients to the default way photoshop had them organized. How do I do that. I have opened the G and could not see restore as Adobe said to do. I went to Preferences>tools and clicked the gradient tool and clicked restore but that did not work.
