I am posting this comment on the PhotoShop Discussion Forum, but it could equally well belong to any other Adobe Creative app's Forum. I have been a committed user of a wide range of Adobe apps for decades. Throughout all that time, I have been consistently frustrated by Adobe's insistence on complicated key-mouse combinations. I am one of the rare breed of literally 'single-handed' users in that my left hand is of little reliable use. Attempting esoteric combinations such as clicking on something while simultaneously pressing the Crtl and Shift keys, for example, is something I can only do clumsilily, unreliably, and with a certain amount of discomfort. I am all too aware that manufacturers only pay lip-service at best to accessibility issues, and then only when legislation requires them to do something. There are simply too many forms and degrees of 'disability' to cater for them all. The cost would become prohibitive. However, for desktop or web-based software applications solutions to very specific (and uncommon) issues like mine can have wider benefits for all users. The search for a solution can encourage or even force a much needed rethink of the User Interface in general. Aren't weird combinations like I have described just a bit obscure for most users, even fully ambidextrous ones? A solution to my problem, as just one example, might be to have a 'mode' toggle somewhere easily visible, which, when pressed with the mouse would have the same effect as the Ctrl+Shift key combination. These are just a few of my thoughts. I would be interested in those of others, especially from within Adobe or from fellow users who face similar challenges.

I am attempting to compose a document (non-facing pages) containing poetry in different languages with line numbers (every x lines). In my latest attempt, I have 4 columns representing the text and line numbers in each of the two languages. My first attempt, using a multi-column text frame (primary and non-primary) failed because, for the life of me, I could find a way of getting the text to flow 'column first' (i.e. fill the first column until all text was entered on multiple pages before advancing to the next column). My latest attempt seemed more promising but still failed. I can fill the first column with text across multiple pages, but if I attempt to enter text (line numbers every 10 lines) in the second column, when I reach the end of the first page, InDesign inserts a new page between the first and previously second page with no text in the first column of the new second page. I am now completely stumped, and I have not got to the third and fourth columns yet. Am I trying to achieve something that InDesign can't do or am I missing something? Will I have to resort to abandoning text flow and treating each page/spread separately and copying pasting text into each column on a page-by-page basis? Thanks in advance for any assistance,

Note: This is a repost of an alomst identical post with a corrected title. The previous post referred incorrectly to Photoshop CS rather than Photoshop Creative Cloud. After using Photoshop Creative Cloud (CC) for many years without any issues, I am experiencing a serious problem after upgrading to from Windows 10 to Windows 11. The issue persists throught to version 24.7 installed via Creative Cloud Desktop. Device: Dell Precision 3930 Rack; Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz Installed RAM: 32.0 GB (31.8 GB usable) Graphics Gard: NVIDIA Quadro P2200; Driver Version: 31.0.15.2886, 22/03/2023 Windows OS: Windows 11 Pro; Version 22H2; Installed 23/‎03/‎2023; Build 22621.1992 Photoshop loads fine, but when a file is opened or created (which also works perfectly), the focus goes haywire, jumping repeatedly, several times a second, thereby making it impossible to do anything. The 'focus switching' affects all applications running on the system and persists when Photoshop is closed. Signing out and back is therefore necessary. I have not heard specific mention of this issue anywhere. The only similar issues relate to graphics card compatibility. Given that the issue did not arise on Windows 10, this is unlikely to be the problem. Disabling all GPU optimization has no effect. Does Adobe or anyone else know of this problem? Has it been identified? Is there a resolution/fix/workaraound? Currently I am left with no choice but to run Photoshop on a Mac which I am fortunate to have, and export and transfer files. This is far from ideal!

I understand the comments now. My apologies. My choice of version name was completely misleading. I always get confused by the myriad version names given for applications. To put the record straight I am always running the latest Version of Adobe Creative Cloud and use Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier, Audition and Animate on a regular basis. So, to be entirely precise and accurate, I am using Photoshop Version 24.6. As far as I am aware I am only having this issue with Photoshop. My apologies once again for the confusion caused. Call me deluded or hopelessly optimistic, but I expect all software that I pay significant license fees for to work. Too many goods and services sold these days simply do not work. It has become a modern disease.
