Here are some steps you can take. Note: please back up your settings files in your user preferance files on Windows. Normally, these files are located at C:/Users/{username}/AppData/Adobe/. You can rename all Illustrator and Photoshop files with {xphotoshopv26}, then try opening them again. If they work, great—it looks like it was the user's preference files crashing the boot-up. If this still does not fix it, please try uninstalling and using the Adobe Remover Tool. https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html after you reinstall rename the user preferances files back to your orginal name and see if they boot. Let me know if you still have any problems or if this worked.

From what it sounds like, you're trying to explain that you want it to be more accurate—matching about 10% of the actual gradient. When I saw you click with the full cursor, it did seem to change. You could sample the color and see that your circle is actually only at 1% of the actual pixel change. It doesn't appear to be a true edge cursor to the eye, but the actual pixel change on your screen should show a 1% difference. I recommend that if you're trying to brush something and you're not getting quite the edge you're looking for, use the full cursor but adjust it so that your gradient drop-off is slightly different from the actual edge of your cursor. beyond 20-25% you may not see a change with the nakid eye also because your monitor can not display the true edge. Just like a selection below 50% photoshop has no way to display that. If I change my gamma, I see that the brush aligns with its full edge, which is why you see a pixelated edge.

What would be the purpose of sending it to Google Lens? Could we have Photoshop provide keywords and metadata? One idea I proposed was to have Firefly supply that information for image analysis.

We need an option to create a project file that cannot be saved over. The reason for this is that when working with a client who has many options, we sometimes need to step back in time or recover older versions from unexpected changes. Similar to an Illustrator template file (.ait), we could have a format like .aiv or .aivi. This way, when I save flyer.aiv, every save will generate a backup file flyer-250204817.ai next to the current file. It would also be useful to have an option in a settings pane to save a backup every other save and retain backups for a maximum of three days or up to ten saves. Whatever option we choose should control the local .aiv file. I do store files on my local nas server, where every save gets a snapshot. However, when working on my local system (laptop), I don’t have that function, nor do I always have Wi-Fi. This means working in Adobe Cloud is not an option. Please provide an option so we do not loose our work or we have the option to recover from edits we desided were not what we want.

C:\Users\userid\AppData\Local\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 20## is where you can find the settings. Be sure to back up your current AppData before making any changes. Be aware that some plugins and preferences may not be compatible, but most should convert successfully. Currently, you cannot modify files in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 20##\Presets. I have requested this to be unlocked every year for the past five years. Unfortunately, any time there is an update, the files are cleared out. I want to be able to have only my own versions stored there.

When you ran the update did you allow it to remove old versions? On windows C:\Users\"ID"\AppData\Local\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2022 You can copy over your stored content to its new version. if you do not see your old file they may be lost. any Wacom older than 2020 will not work on adobe 2021 or above. from my experiance. Let me know if you would like more help

It's clear, but I think it should also be highlighted on Adobe's homepage under the AI section so that people can better understand. I still see many people claiming that Adobe is training on their personal private content, without realizing that Adobe would never do that, as bad or junk files would lead to poor results. I would like to see a short link to Adobe that explains how their training process works and what type of content is used. While this clarification helps, many users still misunderstand the terms and conditions and believe Adobe is using their content without permission. I still see a lot of protests against AI-generated content, and I believe there should be embedded metadata to mark that an image was edited with a Gen-AI tool. However, simple adjustments like color grading or cropping should not trigger this.

Idea: At least provide feedback on why the image and results were bad, and allow users to earn some credits back. For example, after 3-5 rejects, get 1 credit back. Additionally, offer an option in Firefly to set up the tool panel first, then hit generate, rather than starting with pre-made art and making all the necessary changes before generation. I’ve found that I need to develop prompts first before submitting them to Firefly works better.

So i applyed in Bridge keywords and other META DATA to the SVG . but when i open edit and save from illustrator, illustrator will not save that data. i can see it when i open the file but when i save and close the SVG file it looses the Meta data. my only option is to save them as EPS or AI files. i would like to keep them SVGs for web compatibility but now im needing to save more files so i can search.

I would like to have the option of offering project packages. I've seen this on other websites like envato, and I would like to provide similar options for Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro project packages. These packages would consist of the original source materials, possibly including masked-out source files or replacement reference images—that can be replaced and used for future updates. Having a single file, such as an Illustrator file with all images embedded and assets pre-built, can make it very confusing to relink and update the images. The same applies to InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro. I need to be able to zip package my project and provide the zipped project file to my clients. Unfortunately, I cannot currently do this on Adobe Stock, but I would like to start selling my premaed projects there once this functionality is available.
