This is as good as it gets. People saving a ton of time by using the Ai tools to earn their living. AFAIK Jesus Rameriz is as good as it gets when it comes to making the most of those tools, and has some amzing tips on making it work for you, (to many people say they don't work, when they just don't use them properly).

Not sure of the accuracy of Google Lens. However, when I have tried, as I recall there was only one out of a thousand where the item was mis-identified. Again commonality among the apps is a win-win IMO

It would have to be a video, as opposed to frame animation, because there is no provision to add audio to a frame animation. There's a mute audio icon in the timeline
And thios speaker icon needs to have the radial bars in front of it
On the whole, Photoshop is a nightmare for editing video, and even worse for audio, so I am in awe of anyone who can make it work.

Here are some steps you can take. Note: please back up your settings files in your user preferance files on Windows. Normally, these files are located at C:/Users/{username}/AppData/Adobe/. You can rename all Illustrator and Photoshop files with {xphotoshopv26}, then try opening them again. If they work, great—it looks like it was the user's preference files crashing the boot-up. If this still does not fix it, please try uninstalling and using the Adobe Remover Tool. https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html after you reinstall rename the user preferances files back to your orginal name and see if they boot. Let me know if you still have any problems or if this worked.

From what it sounds like, you're trying to explain that you want it to be more accurate—matching about 10% of the actual gradient. When I saw you click with the full cursor, it did seem to change. You could sample the color and see that your circle is actually only at 1% of the actual pixel change. It doesn't appear to be a true edge cursor to the eye, but the actual pixel change on your screen should show a 1% difference. I recommend that if you're trying to brush something and you're not getting quite the edge you're looking for, use the full cursor but adjust it so that your gradient drop-off is slightly different from the actual edge of your cursor. beyond 20-25% you may not see a change with the nakid eye also because your monitor can not display the true edge. Just like a selection below 50% photoshop has no way to display that.
If I change my gamma, I see that the brush aligns with its full edge, which is why you see a pixelated edge.

I at least agree Illustrator needs some kind of basic back-up file saving capability. That would at least be a safeguard against accidental Ctrl-S key strokes done out of habit. For the time being, Astute Graphics does have its very good Autosavior plugin for Illustrator. It can be acquired for free just by doing a trial run of Astute Graphics' set of Illustrator plugins.

Nothing is completely fool proof though. We have to be careful about moving files or folders and what those actions can do to overwrite something in the target location. At my workplace I have my network settings configured where no one can modify files on my computer via another workstation. Several different co-workers will access my art files for production work. They'll do things to the artwork to get elements ready for tasks like cutting parts out of material on a routing table or paneling-out graphics for printing a vehicle wrap. I don't want them accidentally saving over my original art.

The functionality is already within Adobe's grasp with Sensei but I fear it won't come to CC because it's a good selling point of Experience Cloud. Adding this would provide an amazing amount of value within Bridge by essentially making it a mini-DAM for local assets. I'd be on board!

Always save out actions, brushes, presets etc.
Save them anywhere you want for safekeeping and easy transport to a new version/new install. Reload in the new version.
This also applies if you need to reset preferences for troubleshooting.

When you ran the update did you allow it to remove old versions? On windows C:\Users\"ID"\AppData\Local\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2022 You can copy over your stored content to its new version. if you do not see your old file they may be lost. any Wacom older than 2020 will not work on adobe 2021 or above. from my experiance. Let me know if you would like more help

Premiere can still process equirectangular images and video. That's not going to be an image editor for you, but you can use lumetri and other effects to adjust the images. You can add text, animate movement, etc.
