Question

WHY Must you KEEP touching your products?

Buttons are constantly going missing,

now the media button vanished,

Changes to software,

LEAVE THE SOFTWARE ALONE, IT'S MAKING YOU MONEY, ISN'T IT?

Please stop touching it. Our design team is struggling with adobe because of this, PLEASE STOP. It works, don't touch it, invest something new with that software engineering budget, stop touching stuff.

Sincerely,

Infuriated Adobe Express Customer.

I really don't want to learn a new app, but at this point this is no longer enjoyable for me.  Shame.

I have to give the devs credit. They seem to have unwound the worst of the changes. I posted a similar vent a couple of months ago. So. credit where it is due... they seemed to have repaired some of the damage with buried menus and commonly used tools.

Thank you Adobe team for changing the interface on the sidebar back to what it orginally was.

I appreciate you taking our thoughts and concerns into consideration.

Now everything is back to where it was and now even more with the Generative AI button, which I don't beleive was on there before, which I think is a great addition.

Thank you again.

WHY IS DUOTONE NOW HIDDEN UNDER TONES "VIEW ALL"??!!!!!

I use duotone to recolor graphics because there is no other way. Hi @brandon_4545

You should still be seeing the default duotone preset. I believe the image effects panel reorganization was driven by the need to expose more much-requested features (like shadows and richer filters, some of which you may be seeing already)

Hi Adobe team,

I’m writing to share my frustration with the current state of Adobe Express. What was once a fast, intuitive, and smooth tool has now become confusing, clunky, and far from user-friendly. The recent updates have significantly worsened the experience.

Here are a few major issues:

1.Lack of Intuitiveness: The new interface is difficult to navigate. Simple tasks take longer, and the layout feels overcomplicated rather than streamlined.

2.iPad Still Locked to Landscape Mode: It’s 2025 why is Adobe Express still limited to landscape mode on iPad? This restricts flexibility and usability, especially for quick edits or social media workflows on the go.

3.No Option to Choose App Version: Why can’t we choose which version of Adobe Express we want to use? It’s clear that older versions still exist on the backend. Allowing users to opt in or out would be an easy feature to build. It’s frustrating to be forced into a version that doesn’t suit our workflow.

If things continue in this direction, I will be moving my entire company’s creative projects away from Adobe permanently. I’ve already started exploring alternative tools that prioritize speed, simplicity, and user choice. I’ll also be recommending everyone I know in the creative space to do the same. As loyal users, we deserve better than being forced into inefficient, poorly thought-out updates.

Honestly, what’s the point of pushing a less functional version without giving users a choice? Many long-time users are disappointed, and this change feels like a multiple steps backward rather than an upgrade.

I hope Adobe considers user feedback seriously and reintroduces flexibility, speed, and simplicity to the app.

Thanks,

I've moved your post from Using the Community to the Adobe Express forum.

It appears I am part of a traunch of profiles that have this update where all the Media, Elements, Text, etc are all nested under this new "Add+" button. (See image) This adds addtional time to workflows. I understand you are trying to make finding things to add to designs easier, but I ask, sternly, for this to be reversed. I would recommend, instead, that adding Text, Media (Images/Video) and Design Elements remain their own buttons. They DO need to be clearly defined, and located near one another. DO NOT keep this "Add+" button, with everything behind it, as the default.

Additional recommendation: Have a "beginner" or "basic" UI option for those new to Express, and an "Advanced" UI for professionals.

What room temp IQ decided to take items we use the most and bury them in the UI?

STOP CHANGING THE UI JUST TO CHANGE THE UI.  This is not making things better and goes against standard UI design.  Why would you take something that took one to two clicks to access and now make it three to five clicks?  Honestly, what is it you would say you do here?  #MakeWork

I'm also not allowed to hit the delete button on my mac anymore to delete an image/text. Now I have to select and then right click to delete? Is this a glitch?

Hey @Jubilant_warmth5622, Having a customizable sidebar is a great feature to have in Adobe Express. You can let our product team know about it by posting a suggestion here: https://adobe.ly/4iJMoFh;

as for the issue with the delete button, can you share a screen recording with the workflow and the issue for us to understand and investigate it further?

Thanks!

Can you give us an option to move those elements and images to the side bar? Like, so we can choose what we want to access on the sidebar. I really like the way it ewas before without having to click on add.

My text option just quit this morning.  There isn't any type of message, it simply gone from the side tool list.  Help, I need this.................thank you.  Now there is a new icon for "Brands" which has never been there before.  Can someone tell me what's up.

Hi @marmoye,

It sounds like your Adobe Express interface has changed unexpectedly, possibly due to an update or a glitch. Here are some steps you can try to restore the missing tools:

  1. Check for Updates – Make sure you're using the latest version of Adobe Express.

  2. Reset the Interface – Try refreshing the page or logging out and back in to see if the tools reappear.

  3. Clear Cache and Cookies – Sometimes, clearing your browser cache can fix UI glitches.

  4. Try a Different Browser – If you’re using Chrome, try Firefox (or vice versa) to check if it's a browser-specific issue.

  5. Check the Workspace Settings – Some tools might be hidden under different menus after an update. Look under the “More” or “Customize” options in the toolbar.

If none of these steps work, let me know, and I can guide you through other troubleshooting methods!

Best regards,

^MM
