Adobe for goodness sake clear the clutter from your web site. I don't want to go round in circles just to ask a question from so called support. Here another heads up, help centres, where ever they are located should have people who know the programmes not just work from scripts on problems. Knowledge of a programme is far more useful, it allows for independent thinking to solve problems or recognise when a problem should be referred to the coders for fixing..
Steve,
It was not always that way.
Then, things changed with Jive, but we learned to live with it, though not happily.
Then, things changed again, with a major Jive update, but we learned to live with it, though not happily.
Then, along came the new "skins," and we are all struggling. I find working in the Adobe forums now, to be all work, and not related to helping others. It is all navigational work!

Steve,
You are far from the first one to report forum issues.
As you can see hidden in this one:
http://forums.adobe.com/thread/999431
a limited number of them should be solved tomorrow.
There are quite a few other threads about the subject, including:
http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1002752?tstart=0
http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1003654?tstart=0

The last one only hits some of us, including myself (it is also discussed elsewhere).
I have even seen threads where there was nothing visible at all in the OP for me, while others have been able to read and answer it.

I have spent far less time, helping others, than ever before. Things are "just horrible," IMHO. I hold out hope that soon, some folk, like the over-worked John C., and the various product forum MOD's, can right this ship. However, right now, it's aground and listing badly, with folk jumping off, into the cold, dark ocean.
Hunt, an "unhappy camper."

John C,
I know that you are, and at least you have our utmost sympathy and support. No one in their right mind would do anything, but support you, and the product forum MOD's. Many are trying.
I can imagine the dialog, "Daddy, what did you do today?" You, "Well, I answered 50 complaints from Hunt... "
If I could have dinner with the folk, who thought this was a good idea, I'd pay the tab, and even order the wines. I do not get to San Jose (if that is where this came from), but am in San Francisco at least once per month. If they let me know how many will be joining me, I will reserve the "Wine Room at Farallon (if it holds that many), and let the discussions begin."
No, you are a "champion," and a tireless worker. I greatly appreciate your efforts, and your reports. This, however is just beyond my limited comprehension.
Thanks,
Hunt

Steve,
To know what things were like in the old days, you may make a search, using the new search called Ask a Question, remember to click the See more Answers bar.
