Adobe7 VS Adobe 9

Intel processor 3.0 gb running XP with SP3 on asus MB. Running Adobe 9 with a file generated with Adobe 7 locks up XP with critical error.System shuts down and reboots. Any suggestions?

seriously, you know adobe is a company, not a product right? as rick says, choose the product you're having problems with and post in the correct forum. and try to be more precise than "my adobe is broken".
