Hi there
If you are talking about a text caption, you cannot edit the tip of the callout pointer. It's fixed as it's part of the bitmap image used for the background.
One possibility is to use two captions. One that contains the text you want that is overlaid on top of the second. The second uses a callout pointer and you may reposition to place the callout pointer where you want by moving the whole caption.

Not exactly. See attached - the line end attached to the callout box. I know you can pick the attaching side I just forgot how.

The problem is, this forum is used for discussing how the forums themselves operate. Somehow this message routed to my Captivate folder in my email client, so I mistakenly assumed you were posting in the Captivate forum. You need to post the question again over in the forum dedicated to whatever product it is that you are using. Once you do that, you should see a response from someone familiar with that product.
Best of luck to you! Rick

I thought that mods can move threads to their proper forums...

Claudio, you are spot on. They can.
But only if they know what forum they belong in.
Unfortunately my crystal ball is on the fritz and my psychic skills are below par, so I have no way of divining what application is being used.
Cheers... Rick

If you go to the Forums Index http://forums.adobe.com/index.jspa
You will be able to select a forum for the Adobe product you use

LOL, silly email sorting. Somehow this ended up in my Captivate category, thus making me think we were in the Captivate forum.
Sorry about that!

Seadoc, could you please give more details so that this thread can be moved to the proper forum?

Seadoc, it's not very advisable to post personal information in a public forum such as this, as you did in your last message. I am not answering it so that you may remove that information if you wish (you cannot modify a post of yours after it has received a reply).
