Can I buy a single CS for both PC and MAC?

New Here ,
Apr 08, 2009 Apr 08, 2009

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum, but could not find the answer on the adobe site and hope someone here will know.

I work on both PC and MAC platforms.  Is there any way I buy CS or any of the Adobe Suites or single Products, so  that I install them on both my MAC and my PC?

Thank you very much for you consideration!

No each platform needs its own license.

for both platforms you would need two licenses.

I think you can now gwt complimentary 2nd licenses for cross platform by contact Adobe. Wasn't that a recent change, following Lightroom's example of one License for both?

you can run the windows cs versions on a pc and a mac running windows either virtually or as a dual boot. but natively, as buko said, no. you can't run the same version under both windows (xp or vista or 7) and osx.

Oh, and by the way, and for future reference, Omhoge...yes, you did post your question in the wrong place.

This section is for comments and discussions about the operations of the forums themselves.

I don't know whether there's really any forum where your question would receive the attention it should.

I suggest you Contact Adobe Sales by telephone or email and try to get the answers you're after straight from the source.

A link to "Contact" Adobe directly can be found at the top of every page on the site.

Thank you all so much.   This information is not obvious on the web site itself.

Phos±four dots, again my apologies for posting in the wrong forum, this was my best guess.

I did in fact look for a way to contact Adobe sales support by e-mail but did not find any such option,

and since I cannot telephone them at the moment I turned to the forums for assistance.

Again I am very sorry for bothering you all.  I doubt I am the only user working on multiple

platforms these days and perhaps this information will be of help to others.

You can feel free to close this thread.

Again I am heartfully sorry for having offended or

for or for seeking assistance in the wrong place, and I thank you all for your help.

take good care! -

Yes I must agree with Phos. I thought I was in the suite forums.

Had I been aware we were in Forum Comments I would have pointed it out.
