Over in http://forums.adobe.com/community/premiere the 2nd sub-forum is

Premiere (all versions; please state your version when posting )

Would it be possible to change that to

OLD Premiere (BEFORE Pro; please state your version when posting)

That should reduce the number of mis-postings of Premiere Pro questions

Thanks for the reply to John T. I agree with his request, as most of the posts there are for PrPro, or Elements, and our usual reply is to furnish the poster with the proper forum URL, so that their questions can be better answered, and that their problems solved more quickly. The vast majority understand the error and either Jeff, or Curt moves the post out to the Pro forum, especially if CS3/CS4 appear somewhere prominent. Still, a few show resentment, as though we do not wish to help them, and only herd them around.

I would suggest that the title look a bit like this "Premiere - All Versions Prior to Premiere Pro," with perhaps a "Not Pr Elements," but then the title might stretch longer than the page.

Good request John T., as always,

Hunt

Either my request or Hunt's alternative would do... just something to make it clear that it is NOT the forum for Premiere Pro

A few of us still check the old forum to see if we can help... but VERY few 'cause P-Pro is the current program and not very many people still use the old version(s) of Premiere

Looks good to me, and many poor, lost CS4 users will now more likely post where they will get instant help. Other than John T., not sure how many folk ever check out that older version's sub-forum, so many posters probably wonder why no one EVER responds to them.

Thank you so much for this assistance - you have helped many users, new to the fora,

Hunt
