Emperor,

You have to make sure you have killed it off in both the Actions:

  • Edit  Preferences>Email Notification Preferences and
  • Manage email notification.

Both to be found to the right under Your Stuff.

Sorry I do not see the "manage email notification" one......where is that??

It is only sending me notifications for the Dreamweaver section of the site...

your stuff --> notifications ...shows no notifications

Looking at your forum account, I see you have 22 thread notification subscriptions, but no subscriptions to any complete forums.

To see all of your subcriptions:

Click on Your Stuff

Select Profile

CLick on Manage Email Notifications in the Actions Panel on your profile

That will list all the individual notifications you have. You can then select all or some of them to delete.

Let us know if that helps.

As John C. points out, there are several ways, that one can have active e-mail notification:

  • One can have them active for their own Discussions
  • One can have them for entire forums
  • One can have them for certain threads in a forum
  • One can have them for Personal Messages (PM's)*

He has also given details on where to look to turn ON/OFF e-mail notifications.

Good luck,

Hunt

* This is the only e-mail notification, that I have ON. This works well for me, though at one forum update, a few months back, all e-mail notifications got turned ON, and I had to manually change that - everywhere.
