We don't need no stinkin' scroll bars in the original post.    Here's my Firefox 3.0.8 Mac screen shot:

Thanks, Ramón.  It appears as though FireFox scaled the image to fit within the posting area.  Too bad that Safari doesn't do the same.

Zeno is correct.  In addition, #27 has no scroll bars on my machine either.

I like Ramón's improvements but am holding off changes at my end until the design stabilises.

I was looking at post #18, no bars, If you meant Post #1, I missed that. It hasscroll bars, as well as #27 w' quote of original!

Oh well,

I run Safari for some stuff, Camino for my Forum tabs. Don't run FoxFire. I like Camino because I don't have to go to a menu ask it to open with all original windows and tabs if I quit it or soething bombs. I typically have five or so windows open with many tabs on each.

Good grief!  I just noticed that there are horizontal scroll bars in your original post.  Why didn't the text simply wrap at the right margin? Any idea why they are present?

Or is this just something weird about Safari(3.2.1) running on OS X(10.5.6)?

.No horizontalscroll bars for that post here. Camino (1.6.7) on 10.5.6.

I can make no accounting of how Camino might behave. Haven't had it on my system in years, and that was only for about 1 day before it even hit v1.0 status.

Might be time to re-investigate it.
