How do I prevent my name from showing up?

With all of the crazies on the internet, I really don't want my name showing up.  I tried the way listed in another discussion (editing communities profile, marking "yourself" as the only one who could see the name), but when I checked it, my name still showed up to everyone.  How can I prevent this from happening?  Thanks for your help.

Hi there, your name shows up as "Graphic Squirrel" to us. One way to check is to copy your profile URL, sign out, paste the URL and see which screen name you see.
