Everytime I try to download and print from a website (One in particular) I continually get an adobe pop-up that is asking me to sign in. When I close the adobe pop-up, it also closes the website platform I'm working on. This is completely unacceptable.

Maybe the website uses an API (a pre-programmed set of instructions).

 It probably means that the site shared a file using Adobe's servers, and require you to log in, so your usage can be tracked or checked. If you don't like this, then complain to the site.
