how do you change display name

Hi, not that I mind to show my realname, but i do have a screen name in my profile and the real name is showing, how come? thanks,

What you see as your name is not necessarily what others see... To edit what is shown as your screen name click your profile and then on Edit Communities Profile. Then click on Privacy and you'll be able to set who sees what, and also to preview it. The name I'm seeing is "margieannejulie", by the way.

Only you can see your real name, everybody else (that is besides the site admins) only see your screen name. This is what I see when I look at your post:

And this is what I see when I visit your profile:

So, unless that is your real name, it's just confusing how this system is set up.

Even so, how would someone change their display name?

When I logged in to create this account, I did not realize the spencerg18373456267181283763bedjbnkljhdcbwuo376298376t92uvbsdhdjbwo name it gave me was going to be something I cannot seem to change.

I would like to change it to something more meaningful than a random group of numbers.

Not all of it, just what you defined as public. But yes, in principle we

can see it.
