The link is not dead; it hast just taken me to a set of seven different tutorials, all of them working. And there is a further link to those tutorials near the top of the page...

You could try using this link:

<http://forums.adobe.com/people/XXXXXXXXX>

The xxxxxxx is the screen name of the person and it is case sensitive.  When you get to that person's profile page, You need to click on "XXXXXX's Stuff" as shown in this picture:

In the above picture, you have got my name but you will get that person't name there.  Also, if the post is very old then you are not likely to get any info using this method.

Perhaps Google is the solution.

Good luck.

thanks for the tons of mail everybody especially Claudio, actually I just logged in, and after clicking your stuff/discussions, there it was again, forum>people that I had

seen and used before. That's what I was looking for, and now it's gone again. I ll back up, and it should be still there. That is the tricky part.

That was a totally unintentional double click that slipped from my finger, didn t mean to aggravate you

Re: how do you look for a particular person/posts in a particular forum?

You do it in two steps:

  1. go to search http://forums.adobe.com/search.jspa and click on More Options
    • under Restrict to a Forum, Project or Group: enter the forum name
    • under Restrict to a specific person: enter the user name
  2. click Search

Is there a reason, that you have posted the same request twice?

That is not appreciated.
