Well, this is my thread, and I dont want it under MY name. I dont mind removing my ENTIRE user.

But it was you who posted it under your name, nobody forced you to do it. And opening a thread does not make one the owner of the thread.

As John, I fail to see any valid reason for removing the thread, which does contain information that may be useful for others.
