"Warning: Changing your e-mail also changes your Adobe ID, which may impact access to your services and your personal content in any of them."

Why on earth does this have to be so? Why isn't the e-mail just a property of the Adobe ID?

Try the Adobe.com forum. While the forums use an Adobe ID for logging in, it is still a separate system. http://forums.adobe.com/community/general/adobedotcom_feedback
