Is it allowed to copy original Adobe software(photoshop, illustrator) to a blank CD/DVD for back up?

So the original files wouldn't be harmed, if anything happenes at the work place.

Martin,

Remember to write the Serial Numbers on the CD/DVDs

I have always copied the originals from the start, installed from the copies to make sure they worked, and kept the originals in a safe deposit box.

Welcome to the forum.

Unless things have changed (they do from time to time), a backup copy is allowed by the EULA. That should be across the entire Adobe portfolio.

Good luck,

Hunt

Check here:

Click on the desired product. Some companies do allow making a backup copy, others you can but other don't and will send you a replacement DVD/CD for a fee for pressing a new disk.
