Try using %20 as a space character: http://forums.adobe.com/people/La%20Favia!
It seems the user has been disabled.

Thanks Pat. I copy/pasted the URL and it added those characters but when I clicked on it I just got an error page (using FF. This has happened before elsewhere) but your link works fine.

I think you need to get your troops singing from the same hymn sheet, JC - there's a sticky at the top of the InDesign forum urging people to use the button to report spam.
(Is this misbegotten massive message box ever going away?)

Pat, La Favia! has not been disabled:

Can't guess what this person is up to. The opening post in Spanish is meaningless.

This whole topic / exchange is spam:

Doesn't it seem a bit futile though?

Are you saying that spam post should be left alone...?
The thing is, these spammers (mostly from China and India) post their spam links in many forums, hoping to increase their search engine rank. Forums that do not strictly control and remove spam posts will likely attract more forum spammers than stricter ones.
If we do not report and remove spam posts, we will see a lot more of these sooner or later.

that was a fun thread, i wonder what they'll come up with next

Nope... futile for the spammer... the entire thread comprised just them... the link was, also, not very obvious. In fact, i was about to reply to you to that effect, looked again and then saw the link...

Indeed!
Unlike the email spammers, forum spammers are quite ingenious. Their goal is to remain undetected, except for search engines.
We shall remain vigilant!

I have just noticed that this report may pass unnoticed because I posted it as a reply to Pat.
There is a new post by La Favia! here

The messsage, apparently in Spanish, is meaningless, and I can't guess what the author is trying to do.

Does it really matter? Or may be we should be grateful? 'Cos, Given the general mood of the forum, we're all a bit on the anxious side

I think the spammers are sensing our moods and tailoring their wares to fit.
Which makes them much more intuitive than this forum software.

Steve's bug at work again:
http://forums.adobe.com/message/2016553#2016553
Has anyone checked what happens with the repeating post if a thread that has been locked to stop it is unlocked after 12-14 hours?

Here's one that was locked for approx 19 hours, unlocked, repeat post started up again, then locked again.
http://forums.adobe.com/message/1887729#1887729
Things may have changed since April 12, though.
[Edit: I need a new calculator! That was locked for more than a day prior to unlock/relock.]

I don't know if I'm posting this in the right forum, if not, please move where you see fit. It's my first time posting, but I have to warn other members about this e-mail I received. I hate SPAM so I decided to post it here as an FYI. I know you guys are smart enough not to believe this, but figured why not see if I can help any other people that might have encountered this problem and to bring it to adobe's attention.
