Screen name vs real name

Laura Hickle appears by the avatar, but Sapphire Cat in the quote.

This happens to me too in my 2nd account.

How, when and why the discrepancy?

Hey, it's not happening to me now. In the temporary forums I got the 'Laura Hickle' effect, and my 'real name' was appearing on the left. Weird.

No, in the temporary new forums, that 2nd account, spy-in-the-sky, had my real name by the avatar, and screen name only in quotes. I haven't touched it since, and now the screen name appears in both places.

It seems to be happening to Laura.

In your forum profile you can set it to show your full name or your screen name.  Perhaps you edited that during the preview?

No, during the preview I kept setting it to hide my real name, but it refused. Kept jumping back whenever I went back to edit my account.
