Soft/Hardware Profile

Having a signature that includes all relevant soft- and hardware may be useful in getting good answers to questions. The point is to make it as easy as possible for the respondent.

i think it would be a real pain to wade through that every time a person posts. a better place for that info is in the profile.

The small green text at the bottom of a window is what it looks like on one of the forums thru Apple.

It probably wouldn't be a bad idea (I think it IS helpful in the Apple forums if people update it) but alas, it'll never happen unless Jive has it as an option in a newer version and Adobe coughs up some cash to update the forum software and...

On the old AVID/Pinnacle fora, there was an area for equipment specs. in the profile. Filling in that info was encouraged. The limitation was with the amount of material that could be included. Some of the shorthand got rather cryptic.
