I posted this in the Photoshop forum

2024-03-08 08_02_12-Can 12GB Dual Channel Ram with Intel UHD Graphics ... - Adobe Community - 144752.png

Went back to edit the post and ran spell check and this is the result, what exactly is a GPUU and a SSDD and it also removed the spacing between some words 🤣

I'll confirm that spacing disappears for me, too. I'm glad you reported it, Ged — I never did.

@jane-e just tested on another thread and it's doing the same thing, how it's adding extra characters is a mistery, now we have to spell check the spell check 😂

Yes, it happens everywhere consistently, @Ged_Traynor , and it's not new. It's just annoying.

adobe's spell check has been problematic for quite a while, possibly forever.  there was a discussion in the backroom about it with quite a few people opining.  i started using grammarly based on that discussion.

If you use Chrome, this free extension works well:

https://languagetool.org/chrome

It doesn't autocorrect, but makes suggestions.

@Peru Bob got that extension for Firefox and it works wonders, no more clicking on spell check 👍

It happens once in a while but not consistently.  I've never reported it because I think it's browser related.

If it happens again, back out of whatever you're doing and hit browser refresh -- F5 or Ctrl+R.

Hope that helps.
