Trouble installing Updates

I am unable to install automatic updates to Photoshop CS5.  I get an error message that says "Please close the following application to continue, "Adobe Bridge CS5 (Bridge.exe).  Can someone help me with this.  This program is not open.  I recently installed CS5 and have just begun to use (no earlier versions had been installed).

Please ask in the appropriate product forum, e.g. Photoshop.  And when you do, specify some more info, e.g. the operating system you are using.

You're in the wrong forum, but a quick reboot and then trying to do the update before you open anything else wouldn't hurt....
