The constant logging in. the slowness, the wasted space (making it even more difficult to use on a laptop) is really causing me to use this forum less and less. It use to be Quick and fun to pop in while you were drinking your morning coffee, answer a few questions and get to work. Then after s few hours pop back in for a few more question reply to some of the earlier replies.
Now its just plain tedious to do anything on this forum. I want it to work but this is just not doing it. As Phos has pointed out we've been giving feedback but no-one seems to be listening. We've already lost many good people how many more will we lose before this is recognized as the complete failure it is?

It took me 23 seconds just to load this reply window.
The backspace cursor cannot seem to keep up with my typing. Now, I know I can type reasonably quickly, but the backspace key has always been able to keep up with me when I have made a mistake and backspaced to clear it. Now, it's at least one second for each backspace stroke.
This really is getting to be tedious.

Probably something to do with how long it took to gather up these little gems for the 'More like this' box:

The slowness of forum the is especially irritating for those that participated in the beta forum feedback. The number one, two, and three requests were - IT HAS TO BE FAST!
The only thing fast about this new format is the rate at which adverse comments come in.

Yes, I also got that earlier today. And I couldn't help thinking, if it was a scheduled maintainance, would't it have been polite to warn us?

No I realize everyone doesn't live in the America's. But the Jive headquarters is based in Colorado in the USA.
But it could be staggered according to Continents. In that case that should be a night after midnight

Actually it would be next morning.
Even though the Sun is set and the moon is out (except during new moon phase), One minute after midnight is morning (AM).
That should keep from interfering with most use during the daytime when most computers users use their computers.

I don't care at what time you think it should have been done, or about any of your messing around with times at different parts of the world. My point was, and still is, that if it was scheduled, for whatever time, it would have been polite to warn us. It wasn't, and I have seen no message explaining why. Which, from my point of view, isn't polite. Maybe I'm too old fashioned, and too single minded, but I also think it's not polite to interrupt an argument with unrelated matters. If you want to be witty, please open your own thread.

Agreed. Perhaps, the server hard drive died, and they had no choice. IF they did have a choice it should have been done in stages as everyone goes to bed.

I doubt it was scheduled. For me, there was a brief period of timeouts before that notice finally appeared. I think they meant to post something like this with "Please Stand By" over it.

Yep. curious though in my area always seemed to sound that died.
You remember watching show where the adion avideo were out of sync? People Talking their mouths would either continue after the sound quit, or before the sound quit. Except on Live shows.
