V Card?

In my profle next to my name there is a little icon that when I pause my curosr over it it says "download V Card".

What is a V card and why would I want one?

Yes I read that, but why would I want to do that on this forum?  Makes no sense to me.

It's a format standard for exchange of contact (and other) info.
