Why have I received 254 (and still counting) emails from Adobe today?

So I'm guessing this has somethng to do with the Feature Request being merged into the regular forums. I had notifications set to on for the old system but I never actaully got any and just brushed it off as a broken feature. Well today I seem to be getting every notifcation I  never got before going back a few years. I just  got another 12 while typing this.

click your upper right icon > my follows and untick everything you don't want to follow

Thank you, i'll try that. But wanted to follow these threads, I just didn't want 5 years of notifications all in one day.

Actaully i just tried and none of the threads I'm getting emials for are listed as me following.

and those threads are not listed on your "my follows" page?

if not, you could go to your account settings > notifications:

Yea they are not listed under my follows page.  I turned off all emails so lets see if that works....

if so, what date were they sent (not received)?

and if so, google your email client and how to automatically sequester emails from a designated domain into a designated folder.

They've stopped for now! They were all sent yesterday and also the comments they were notfying me of were all listed as being made yesterday even though they were clearly from years ago. I saw your other reply to me on another thread and that others are getting this too, thanks for your help. This was definitly the Migration of UserVoice over messing somthing up for abunch of us.

hopefully that's the end of it.  on that other thread i flagged an adobe employee to see if they could supply any info.

i follow 5 foruns so i get hundreds every day, but i don't exactly know what you're getting and why it just started.

I'm receiving hundreds of emails every hour from the Community Forum despite my notification settings being completely turned off.

Adobe support have no idea what to do and told me to post on the forum about this...

I've received 600 emails since 10:30am and I have no way of stopping them.

Same.  Every single response to every thread I've ever posted on is now getting sent to me as a "new" notification.

No it stopped latter that day. I think it just got to the end of any notfacations I had never recieved from before.

I am currently receiving emails for a top I never followed. In my settings I'm currently showing that I'm not following anything. The emails say they are for a "community that you follow." I turned off notifications for communities that I follow (I'm not following any anyway) and I'm still getting the emails.
