Don't cut down the functionality in Ideas section!

Since this topic was closed, I'm writing it as a request.

Don't cut down the functionality in the Ideas section! it's very inconvenient when I want to reply to smb's comment & have to quote it manually. Esp. when the topic is full of comments. If I just tag the person, other readers will easily lose the point of the discussion because that comment was somewhere too far on the page. If I quote it manually, it doubles the amount of the text for the viewers. NOT user friendly at all!!!

Guess which type of commenting is easier to follow?

Bugs & Ideas are non-threaded for a purpose. It's not what we want, it's what's required by Adobe's internal tracking system and can't be changed.

If you want threaded discussion, use the Discussion board.

Without a tracking system, your remarks are just digital dust.

The internal tracking system is used to log & prioritize feedback, then disseminate it to the respective product engineers who work in separate physical locations.

you should "track" just the number of votes & comments

Your circular logic makes no sense.  Adobe's tracking system requires unthreaded posts. And this fact can't be changed.  Concentrate on things you CAN change. Stop worring about things you can't.

2. I'm neither a dictator nor a decision maker.

2. Product users like us don't get to pick what systems Adobe uses. Upper-level management makes those decisions.
