Any Update on Progress on Attach File Function?

Just wondering if any progress has been made on the old Attach File (lower-left of the editing screen), that was removed a couple of months back?

There was talk that Adobe (and maybe Jive) was working on filters to allow for its re-implementation.

Just curious if anyone can comment on whether it's ever going to come back.

Thanks,

Hunt

I appreciate the reply, and SO-O quickly too. Thanks for that. Here's a hope that it can be restored, but I understand the need to make it secure.

Do not know what you will do with those "points," but you got "Correct Answer." [Maybe an admin. can trade them for a lunch upgrade in the Official Adobe cafeteria?]

Thank you,

You could just click on the "Show Details" link on the announcement,

read the date the announcement was made, do the math and come up with

the correct time period.

Seriously, how hard is it to stop presenting your fictions as fact?

My bad, It wasn't presented necessarily as fact. In any event it has been a little over 2 months actually its been closer to 2 months and 2 weeks but who counting. about a week into Feb and a few days past Start of May (about 10 days ). In any event should it take 10 weeks to figure out a fix?

Seems like 6 months even though its been 2 months, 10 days and a few hours.

No feather in your cap for putting someone down. I guess it will feel your heart with glee tonight.

Hey, those extra points have now been distributed. Time to make up - everyone be happy now!

I will, when Adobe is finally able to reinstate that little feature, as a lot of product/system troubleshooting can be done from various logs and TXT documents from utilities.

PS - Phillip, don't spend those points on more sea monkeys, OK?

Now they have even disabled the camera icon in the PS forums!

That's like putting a gag on the helper.

Just wentt there and yes its greyed out on an obvious question. I went to a subject that was showing as an obvious question and content asked a question. So my theory that, it only activates if a question is asked either in body, or subject line is wrong.  Guess its a temporary bug.

Thanks for posting the new thread, as it got Adobe's attention and was fixed. Not sure they would have seen it here.

I missed this one, as I had nothing that needed to be attached.
