I see attachments now open directly in the forum. Thats an improvement.

But if multiple attachments have been posted. How am I suppose to compare them like in the embed screenshots without downloading them.

You can't.

All the noise about attached files has created a firestorm of another kind.  In the Stock Contributors board everyone attaches multiple images for feedback.  Now we can't provide appropriate feedback from this viewer.  Gag me with a spoon.

I wonder if Adobe ever gathers feedback from real users before going live.

I think the possibility of attachments was ultimately an improvement.

I guess it should just flat out reject to accept jpg and png …

Think that is a far better solution as to what they have come up now.

If JPG and PNG are rejected users are forced to embed: problem solved.

I invite you to the Stock Contributors forum where attached JPGs are the rule rather than an exception.  Now tell me if you think that works.

I think @Ann Bens meant that attached jpgs and pngs are a nuisance and they should be inserted instead.

I just checked a few posts on that Forum and in several the images appear to have been inserted – which seems preferable to me.

For sure. Insert is the better option.

only for example - please ignore the content

Most of the time I have to open the attachments twice as the first time gives an error.
