How do I tell if I have the design bundal version installed or indivdual version of the apps

I want to upgrade from CS1 to the latest version

What does the install CD say on it? Plus when you register the product with adobe you can go online to the website and check your account there.

AFAIK, you don't need to register as such to upgrade... you just need proof that you have a previous version. This could be the earlier discs or, i think, even an installed (previous eligible) version.
