Recently, at least four times out of five, Start a Discussion crashes FF.
And just before, trying to post a new thread in this forum using the Start a Discussion option, in this forum, the seventh attempt resulted in my looking at a page with the heading Post New Thread in Illustrator.

Forgive me Jacob... i'm not laughing at you... i feel the pain! This whole shebang has now gone from the sublime to the ridiculous!
It's one of the reasons i stay away from the product-specific forum unless i have a specific question. Selfish? Yes. But what to do?
Cheers!

Its SeaMonkey (one word) and its the all in one equvilent to ThunderBird and FireFox.
It was at one time know when it was Product of Netscape "Communicator" and Then when Mozilla Foundation was started it was called Mozilla.
It based on the latest 2 series FireFox Code, and the latest Thunderbird Version 2 code.
I don't have to have, two program s at the same time, to read email or vist the Websites. and Although it can Use Tabs, I have that feature turned off. I don't like tabs and Tabs use to much memory. regardless of which browser used. (SM, FF OmniWeb, Opera, Safari, iCab).

Wow. I've never heard you mention any of that before. I must go download it now.

SeaMonkey is listed under other Mozilla products column on right, first item
Not much difference between size of FireFox Application and SeaMonkey. and if you click on a link in an email , or a mailto: on a website, you get there instantly without having to wait to crank up the additional application
It works faster because code normally in FF or TB that is duplicated, is already in SM therefore code is not entered twice. Its there to begin with.
BTW: SeaMonkey name was taken from the Sea creature called a Sea Monkey. even the logo for SeaMonkey is a stylistic resemblance of the actual sea creature.
The added item to the end of the Useragent string is a work around to allow billpay on Suntrust Bank. They wrote there browser sniffer code to key on FireFox not gecko.
Both SM and FF use the same Gecko engine.

Just got back from the pub and started the download of Sea Mokey but I get "Access denied".
It must be very popular.

You're being teased Phillip (as in not being literal); They know where to
find the WaterMonkey.

Kath,
For the past few days, I've been usinbg iCab. All the customization capabilities I had in Firefox are gone, but these forums are running at top speed. Incredible!
