Maybe the light green icon with bold black "DW" letters on top is too hard to notice.

I wish folks would knock of the snide remarks and making fun of folks that go into the wrong forum.
Just simply tell them what Forum to go to. Mr Kaslow seems to handle it best. he doesn't make fun he just points them to right area.
It seem like most here get there sweet revenge on lost souls that wander in the wrong place, because they were treated the same way the first time they signed on and held a grudge.

Many of the folks here have been on adobe forums from the start of the forums. And are frustrated because Adobe replaced a sytem that worked (although slowly because of equipment used and other considerations, but did work), with a system that is filled more bugs than roach motel. And has silly unnecessary features. So they get testy and jump on people when they don't really mean to. Or have forgotten that 5,10,20, 25 years ago they were newbies (new people unfamiliar with how things work). Some are so experienced, they have this ingrained notion that everyone should know it, if they do. They have forgotten what it is to be a greenhorn or newbie.
I've been dealing with all types of computers since the early 80's and there is still a lot I don't know, not for lack of trying, but because I I haven't run across it yet, or because I had no help or support, nor had had the education because of lack of time or lack of fund, or ability to travel, when needed and had to dive in and try to teach myself. So my methods though may work for me, don't fit the proper book way of doing things. So I most time receive snickers and jeers from folks more knowledgeable. I give help as best I can and send folks to proper forum if needed, and don't try to judge anyone.

Thank you for your kindness...I certainly understand.
So do you know why when I am looking at my pages in IE I see momentary flashes of white as I move between pages...but I do not see this in FireFox?

I've been told on the Forums that there is compatability issues with IE and the forums.

PJ...
Kstorms is talking about a problem s/he's having with pages on a site being developed by her/him. Not about the forums.

Yes you are correct, sorry for barking up wrong Tree.
In that case, sounda like some conflict in IE.

Flash of Unstyled Content or FOUC is not just an IE problem.
See the Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flash_of_unstyled_content
In effect, "The FOUC appears only during the initial page load of a page that uses the CSS @import rule to reference the CSS style sheet." Source: TechRepulic.

The OP said he was only experincing the problem on IE.
If what you report is true why doesn't it show up in FireFox. Which he said he also tried it on.
