I thought the Helpful functionality had been eliminated in the current rendition of the forum.

Then lo and behold Adobe staffer Steve G today marked one of my posts HELPFUL:

Re: Why doesn't my Layer menu look like Julianne's?

Is the Helpful indicator simply no longer available to mere mortals?

I notice a lot of folks pressing the Like link now, implying they think posts are helpful.  Is the Like link actually useful for anything?

Mods and admins can mark posts as Helpful, but nobody else can. The original poster of the thread should also be able to do it, but they can't. It's a bug, reported to Jive a while ago, waiting on a fix.
