Hi,

http://forums.adobe.com/ suddenly stopped working on my Windows Phone 8 running Internet Explorer 10.

I believe this must be an error in the configuration of supported OS/browsers in the forum configurations.

All forums worked perfectly well up until some days ago. The change occured around May 1st, I believe.

Now I get this error message.

Please fix this as I use my phone as the main browser for accessing the Adobe Forums as a licensed user of Photoshop Lightroom.

Windows Phone (not Windows Mobile as you are referring to) is running Internet Explorer 10.

I believe and hope this is a configuration error, not an actual feature of Jive 7.

See Twitter / AdobeCare: @pyngvar Hi, we'll check this ...

The mobile version of IE may claim the same version number but it's certainly not the same product. SBS relies on a huge array of JavaScript code and some of that simply doesn't work on mobile apps.

I've checked, and http://forums.adobe.com/ it actually executes fine on the forthcoming Windows Phone 8.1 mobile OS update, running Internet Explorer 11, so not all mobile platforms or mobile browsers are excluded, apparently. Which technology platform was running the forums up until last week? I worked perfectly fine up unitl then. I hope and believe this is a configuration error.

The forums run on the Jive platform since 2009. But Jive 4.5 went end of life and we were recently upgraded to Jive 7.0.

I asked about Windows phone and Jive says it is not supported at this time:

I am sorry to say that Windows Phone IE Browser is not a supported browser. Please refer to our Supported Browsers<http://docs.jivesoftware.com/jive/7.0/community_admin/topic/com.jivesoftware.help.sbs.online/admin/SupportedBrowsers.html?resultof=%22%73%75%70%70%6f%72%74%65%64%22%20%22%73%75%70%70%6f%72%74%22%20%22%62%72%6f%77%73%65%72%22%20> document for reference.
