the forum speed to around zilch.
On some occasions - although these are very rare - the speed of the forums is approaching a third rate Middle African site that uses century old servers connected over dial-up modems, but most of the time it is even slower with the Adobe forums.
I know you have no intentions to improve the speed of the forums, because why spend money on something as stupid as forums now that Technical Support is almost non-existent.
Why don't you close the forums altogether? You have your rental income, so why spend time and money on something that vaguely resembles something called user support.
When are you going to pull the plug?
Speed is back to normal today (for me) and the problem with links returning a 403 code is also fixed
Adobe top management in all likelihood doesn't even know about the forums,
The site has been very slow at times over the past week but it's not Adobe's fault and there's not a lot that can be done in the short term to resolve it. Someone with a lot of resources has decided DDOSing the servers we are hosted on is a fun way to pass the time.
Facebook seems to be experiencing similar attacks.
